Five steps take a teacher from uploading a past paper to seeing exactly which topics their class needs re-taught — with the teacher in control the whole way.
1 · Set up the subject & upload past papers
A teacher creates a subject and outlines its syllabus. Then they upload their past-paper PDFs. Alpha reads each paper and links every question to a specific subtopic on the syllabus — turning a static PDF into structured, reusable data.
Scanned images are read too. Nothing is discarded — the whole back-catalogue becomes searchable.
2 · Describe the exam — AI drafts it
The teacher picks which papers to draw from and writes a plain-English request, like "a 10-question, medium-difficulty test on cell biology." Alpha generates a ready-made draft exam from those papers.
The AI does the heavy lifting of assembly — pulling suitable questions and structuring the paper.
3 · Review, edit & approve
Nothing is automatic. The teacher reviews the draft, edits wording or marks, swaps questions, and only then approves it for publishing. The human owns quality from start to finish.

4 · Students sit it — objective marking is instant
Students enrol with a simple class code and sit the assessment online. Multiple-choice and calculation questions are graded the moment they submit.
Written answers can be reviewed by the teacher, with AI-assisted marking on the roadmap.
5 · See where the class stands, by topic
Results roll up into a red/amber/green heatmap of class mastery per subtopic, with the weakest topics surfaced first. The teacher's effort shifts from marking to acting on insight.
