Who we are

Alpha Solutions ("Alpha", "we") builds three products under the Alpha Solution name: Alpha Exams (assessment for schools, tutoring centres and tutors), Alpha AI Recruiter (AI-conducted first-round interviews for hiring teams) and Alpha DecisionHub (spreadsheet analytics). Information we collect

What we collect depends on which product you or your organisation use.

• Enquiry details — when you book a demo (name, email, organisation, role, which product, and anything you write to us).
• Account data — for platform users of any product: name, email, role, and the institution or company they belong to.
• Alpha Exams — learning content — past papers and syllabus information uploaded by teachers, and the assessments generated from them.
• Alpha Exams — assessment data — student responses, marks, and topic-level progress used to produce class insight.
• Alpha AI Recruiter — candidate & interview data — job and interview content a recruiter creates; a candidate's interview answers (text, and where used, voice or video), the resulting transcript, and rubric scores. Where a recruiter enables proctoring signals during a video section, technical signals (for example, tab-focus changes) are recorded and surfaced to reviewers as advisory information — never as an automatic decision.
• Alpha DecisionHub — uploaded data — the CSV/Excel files a user uploads, the dashboards generated from them, and chat history with the in-product assistant.
• Basic technical data — standard logs needed to run and secure each service.

How we use it

• To respond to demo requests and communicate with you.
• To provide each product: drafting and grading exams, conducting and scoring interviews, and generating dashboards and answers from uploaded data.
• To keep each service secure, reliable, and improving.

We do not sell personal data. In every product, AI-generated output is reviewed by a qualified human before it has any effect: a teacher approves an exam before students see it, and a panelist finalises an interview evaluation before a candidate is notified.

Children's data (Alpha Exams)

Where students are minors, the school or centre is the party with the direct relationship with students and parents, and instructs us as a processor. We handle student data only to provide the service.

Candidate data (Alpha AI Recruiter)

A candidate is notified they are taking an AI-conducted interview before it begins. Interview media and transcripts are retained on a period the hiring organisation configures, and every access to a candidate's record is written to an append-only audit log (who, what, and when). Proctoring signals, where enabled, are advisory only and are never used to reject a candidate automatically — a human panelist reviews the full record before any result is released.

Sharing & sub-processors

We use trusted providers to host each platform and, where a product uses AI (exam drafting, interview scoring, or DecisionHub's AI mode), to generate that output. These providers process data on our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes. DecisionHub additionally offers a statistical mode and, on some deployments, a local-AI option that avoid sending data to a third-party AI provider at all.

Retention & your rights

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the relevant service or as required by law. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact us to exercise them.

Changes

We'll update this policy as each product moves from testing into wider rollout, and note the date of the latest change above.
